Unofficial Football World Championships relaunch
March 25th, 2009
The Unofficial Football World Championships (UFWC) website is currently being relaunched, with new features, a new trophy, and a new mascot.
The UFWC is an alternative international football competition contested in a simple boxing-style title system. Winners of title matches become title holders, and move up the rankings. UFWC history dates back to 1872, 58 years before the World Cup.
On Saturday, current UFWC title holders Holland take on all-time UFWC champions Scotland in the latest Unofficial Football World Championships title match.
You can read more about the UFWC at the website, and in my book.
